Orders + Payments
How to place an order
Choose options on the product page → add to cart → checkout with shipping/billing details → select a payment method → submit. You’ll receive an order confirmation email, and a shipping confirmation with tracking once dispatched.
Payment methods
We accept credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.) and digital wallets/third-party payments (subject to region, e.g., PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay/Installments). The checkout page shows the final available options.
Currency & taxes
Prices are shown and charged in your display currency when available. If FX conversion applies, your bank’s posting rate prevails. Sales tax/VAT/duties are calculated at checkout or collected per local laws.
Authorization & capture
A payment authorization occurs at checkout; some methods place a temporary hold and capture on shipment. If authorization fails, try another card/method and verify your billing address.
Discount codes / Gift cards / Store credit
Enter codes in the discount field at checkout. Gift cards and store credit can be combined with select payment methods. Typically one discount code per order (subject to system rules).
Order changes/cancellation
Contact support@nigtlyn.com or live chat ASAP for address edits, item changes, or cancellation. Once picking or shipping has begun, changes may not be possible; you can return the item per our policy after delivery.
Split shipments & combining orders
To speed delivery, we may split an order into multiple parcels; you’ll receive separate tracking numbers. Eligible orders may be combined into one shipment.
Invoice/receipt
Download an e-receipt in Account → Orders after purchase. For VAT/commercial invoices (where applicable), contact support with your company details and we’ll issue per local requirements.
Payment security
We use encrypted transport and risk checks (including 3D Secure/extra verification) to protect transactions. Some orders may require additional verification to prevent fraud.
Refund destination & timing
Approved cancellations/returns are refunded to the original payment method. We process refunds within 3–5 business days after approval; your bank’s posting time may vary.
Pricing or inventory errors
If a pricing/stock error occurs due to system or human mistake, we reserve the right to cancel or correct the order; paid amounts will be fully refunded.
Installments / BNPL (e.g., Shop Pay Installments)
Availability is shown at checkout. Financing is provided by the respective partner and subject to their terms, including any fees and repayment schedule.
Disputes & duplicate charges
For duplicate charges/failed attempts, check with your bank for pending holds and email support@nigtlyn.com. We’ll investigate and resolve promptly.
